Dude, just did the install and it was a peice of cake. I even got my friend who is a noob to install them. I did the dilligence on the underhoods as well as the clutch line. The clutch line is such a pain to get back on though.

Oh and if you don't like how stiff your clutch peddle feels go ahead and push out the restrictor on the clutch slave cylinder. A cost free mod that does a world of difference if your ask me. But you didn't... so Peace.

I have the AMS linkage and shifter base bushings (exact same thing). This mod definitely improves shifter feel. Everythings nice and crisp and it doesnt cause any noticeable vibration. Great cheap mod!

Don't use pliers but an 8mm socket with an extension and push it out. It's the perfect size for the bushing hole and comes off easily. Good luck.

Just installed these today. Took about 30-40 min or so. My IX MR was a little different underneath but it wasn't hard to figure out.

Nice write-up!

The base bushings, combined with underhood bushings, a short-throw, and a heavy weighted shift knob make shifts feel like loading a cartridge on a bolt-action rifle.
