I wish I had the ***** to do this mod but I have 0 confidence in handling that pressure Maybe I can find a shop somewhat near me that would be willing to take up this task...I'd rather be able to point a finger at someone else and say "Look what YOU did!" Wow, that's bad. Yea, anyone know of a shop in Northern NJ that would do this?

It is a big pain in the ***.. it took me 9 hours. It sux that you have to drop the bumper off.. I'm actually looking forward to doing the tails because they are easy to get out.

I didnt use any additional sealant there was plenty of glue on the lights to start with.. I just heated them up for about 10 minutes on 200f heat.. and pressed it back together and held it for a bit.

I did this, this weekend! Only took me about 6 hours. It is easier than it looks. I had a buddy of mine help me out and we busted it out. I thought it was gonna be more complicated... I was wrong. I think anyone mechanically inclined can pull this one off.

This write up really helped!! And only cost like $20. You can't beat that for the look!

Hope that seal holds up when the weather changes. Meaning, it won't start fogging up in the winter time.

I was wondering this myself. Has anyone tried this method on the tails to give it the MR look? I don't want to smoke out the tails, per se.
