UPDATE:

I checked into a problem of the seat not sliding ALL the way forward and contacting the front mounting bolts, as mentioned by someone in another thread. This is in fact true. Although the brackets themselves provide for full travel as tested un-installed, they stop a little short of full travel when installed as the outside front mounting nut hits the slider. I missed the interference when I reviewed everything as the seat appears to be in the maximum forward position. I believe it is eliminating 1 or 2 positions, I'll confirm that tomorrow. Sorry for the oversight guys.

That said, gtfour43 has said that even at 5'6" he doesn't need the seat any closer.

UPDATE

I now have compatible harness eyebolts available. They are custom made as the standard seatbelt ones that come with a harness are not the correct thread size. I tried to help a buyer find these and they weren't readily available - so I got these custom built.

Price is $14 shipped for one, or $24 shipped for two.

Can you PM when available? Worst case, I will check back in a few weeks. Great idea! BTW - I assume there are no issues with travel all the way back, correct? I have long legs.

Nice brackets but noticed some interference with the seat rail and acorn nuts on the front when moving the seat forward closer to the steering wheel. I simply went to my local hardware store and bought flanged open ended nuts. IIRC the size was M10 1.25 pitch. The trick with the brackets (passenger or driver side) next to the seat belt buckle receiver is to slide it as far away from the seat rail (if its on the driver side, slide it toward the passenger side and vice versa) as possible to provide clearance between the bracket and the bolt head retaining the seat buckle receiver.

What is the best way to line up the new brackets for install in the car? It seems like every time I try to put them in, I am a little bit off each time It is getting very frustrating and I keep scraping up stuff from taking the seats in and out .. It would be SO much easier if I didn't have to use a crescent wrench on the bottom and I could just work with the 6mm allen wrench bolt, like stock.. I have to continue to take the seats in and out so I can adjust adjust that dang nut! Any help appreciated....
