ya you dont run the splash guard then? its neat how everything runs out through there then theres a long rectangle black box that protects the wires that snaps up underneith the fender well. I recommend trunk battery to everyone.. pain in the *** to install but well worth it!

I need to post a pic of my wire tuck around the engine. No wires on top of it anywhere. PITA to do, but make it look so much cleaner.

I routed mine through the interior of car under the plastic covers that run along the rear and front passenger side door. Then down through the hole on passenger floor(not the firewall hole, there's another) and up over the axle right into the engine bay compartment.
I covered the line with wireloom for added saftey.
Install should only take 30mins - 1 hr. Very easy install.

The right rear is light....so that was a good choice Jeff.
I was thinking of center mounting mine, maybe down in the tire spare tire well, or at least in the lowered portion toward the front of the spare tire well. Then the weight is more over the top of the rear axle rather than hanging out the *** end.

If you search around, many people have noticed difference in how well the car runs with a full size battery vs the mini. Not to mention, a mini in colder climates will only last a couple years max. I am just getting tired of replacing them.

and yes I was stupid enough to cut the long rod bolts thinking they werent gonna clear the rear emission canister stuff under the car.. I didnt even notice the top of the lid had holes for them to go up through LOL.
I did install a vent tube as well thats going outside with its own hole drilled in trunk as well.. even with a dry cell you should still vent. I vented specifically because I transport 30gal of e85 in trunk
everytime i fill up, so i didnt want to take any chances there.
