my 2 cents:

I was not able to get the forge bov to stop the fluttering whoosh. It has worked fine for some people so it's possible it will work for you. But I tried every spring and shim combination and it would still flutter.

I'm not sure if it's just the sound or the valve itlself opening and closing to create the flutter. The car did not seem to have any problems idling or anwhere else but I just did not like the "fluttering whoosh" so I kept the stock BOV for now.

Some of the other BOV's are now coming out with recirculating adapters for the Evo. The one I am considering is GReddy Type-S Evo Kit.

I emailed Forge about mine and they said that with stock boost you sould use the yellow spring by itself, with no shims and add shims accordingly if boost is raised.

I just purchased one, yellow spring has been used effectively by previous owner, what spring/washer combo should I use to hold a good 20.5-21 psi?

ok, I just installed the valve this morning with the yellow spring and my boost won't move past 19psi no matter what I do with my mbc, just saw that Bom's Evo uses the blue spring for 19psi, who here is running around 20.5-21psi and what spring/washer combo are you using with the forge vavle?
