I would worry a little about clearance and how to route the cable comming off the sensor. Also if you were going to mount on the A-pillar the cable might not be long enough.

is it ok to tap the ported and jet hot coated stock manifold by buschur?

yes, mine was tapped by Buschur after it had already been ported and jet coated.
