I just wanna hear your experience with it. The good and the bad. Do you feel any HP gain without dyno tuning? Did you feel more HP gain after dyno tuning it? Was it worth your money? Why you like it and/or why don't you like it? What you like about it and/or what you don't like about it? Just be detailed about your whole experience with it. Please and thank you!

I love my Injen.
I did notice a bit more power without a tune.
I also saw peak boost coming in earlier.
Lastly my BOV (Dirverter Valve) actually got quieter!

ZERO fitment issues
Perfectly clear instructions written in english
I went with the black metallic finish and LOVE it. (As opposed to the polished)

Was it worth the money???
Hell yes.

I have NOT gotten the car tuned as yet.

Oh... Only thing I didn't like.... the Injen kit does NOT come with new couplers for the FMIC. So make sure to pick some up before hand.

Eric

Thanks bro! Well detailed.

Not planning on dyno tuning it for full potential though?

It's all in your head, if anything the noise is what makes you think it makes more power. You simply are not going to feel a 1-10whp gain

OP, I would go with a different intake than the Injen. There are better options available that are cheaper as well. The upper pipe is not going to have any gain over the stock upper pipe.

Op, search some more, injen is not the best for the evo, the LICP which is where the gains can be had, is a poor design according to many more experienced evo owners. I have nisei ic pipes btw.

I got an injen UICP and intake stock route. I did not like the fitment and hated the position of the BOV. It just never seemed to fit right on my car. You wont notice a huge gain from the UICP. As stated above get the LICP (ETS) that really opens the car up. Only reason I went with a hard UICP was cause stock coupler went bad. If I had to do it again would go with all ETS Piping

Dont waste your money unless its A short route uicp, like stated above licp is where its at. I previously had an injen uicp and could not tell any difference than I got myself A nesei short route uicp and noticed A HUGE! difference, quick spool for sure.

OP if you searched a little you'd find that Injen pipes are the worst you can get. You don't gain any power by changing your upper ic pipe just the lower pipe makes power and the Injen is known to constantly pop off and make no power gains. I got my car tuned, then installed a custom GReddy upper pipe, AMS intercooler and AMS lower pipe and gained no power. I bought those because I'm prepping for more serious mods when changing air flow really matters. It does add a ballin affect tho. IMO you didn't skimp out buying an EVO, why skimp out on parts.

Damn... I bought the whole kit already. Injen UICP and LICP. If I knew it was this bad, I would've went with ETS or Nisei.

If your not planning on doing more mods its ok but that lower pipe is known to pop when you push the boost. T clamps
