I just got my 15,000 mile service done on my Evo today. As I was driving home I noticed that my turbo timer started beeping at 5000 rpms which is what I have it set at on my HKS type 1 turbo timer. The problem with that is that when I looked at the rpms on the tach it read 4,000 rpms. When I stop at a light I noticed that while the car was idling the turbo timer was reading 1200 tpms and the tach was reading around 900 rpms. I'm not sure what happen while my car was at the dealership. Is there a way to reset my turbo timer? Should I go back to the dealer and ask what the hell happen to my turbo timer?
