The back end does feel more rigid/stiff when driving. You feel more of the road and it makes the rear end of the car feel more planted. I do also have the Cusco CF rear strut bar so some of the stiffness is coming from that. Its a good piece though.

Very nice a friend of mine installed his but had to cut out a lot of plastic and I thought this was the only way to get it to fit. Know I know it can fit and still be able to keep the plastic trim pieces from looking butchered but I guess I am **** but I want it to look nice afterwards. Thanks for the how too.

Is there a specific torque value for the trunk bar? I tightened it to what I think is described above, but I'm not sure. Also, would it be adviseable to use something like Locktite blue for it?
Thanks,
Frank

I think the torque setting is like 33 lbs/ft. It should be the same as the strut bars. As for locktite, I don't think its necessary but it wouldn't hurt.

trunk bar install
Great pictures made the job much easier. Since I have found it is so easy to break those little trim pop rivets I discovered that after removing the false floor I could just stand on my head in the trunk and remove what needed to be trimmed away with the cut off wheel and dremel without taking anything loose. didn't touch the car or do any damage. The bar could then just be tucked in and the bolts inserted.
