Does the RS not have the plastic pieces in trunk found in regular Evos?

I don't believe it does.

I don't have the factory bolts, and was wondering what size bolts will work.

I don't remember what size bolts work but I'm sure if you go to some hardware store and tell them you want to try a couple out and see what works you could find 1 easily...To be honest I think they are almost about the same size as the bolts that hold up the stock chassis bars underneath the downpipe...

I went to 3 hardware stores today and couldn't find a single bolt to fit. I think those holes use an M9 thread pitch size? The sizes in stores jump from 8 to 10.

Can anyone verify the size of the bolts? This is pissing me off. Wish I would have known to order the bolts along with the bar, wasn't aware it didn't come with it.

Thanks,

I was able to scrounge around my various Lancer/Evo bolt collection and found two that worked. Here are the measurements as I can make them with my calipers:

Thanks Z Lancer... just to clarify , what size should I be looking for at the hardware stores? They seem to list all metric stuff as example: M10, 1.5mm 25mm(length?).

I had assumed the the thread width was M10 and 1.5mm the pitch/spacing?

I test fitted some labled 1.25 which were too small (width) and 1.5's which were too large (width)..

I know this was an old request but I just came across this post. Attached are a couple of pictures of my trunk. None of that fancy plastic for the RS...just peel back the paper thin carpet to get to the spare tire.

I do believe the pitch should be 1.25mm and M10. I'll be at the hardware store tomorrow and I can check my bolt against what they have an actually figure it out for you.
