There was a post about what parts were needed to make the adaptor but after searching for over an hour, I couldn't find it. Now it's driving me crazy! If anybody else remembers where that post was, could you help out? I know someone else asked this same question a couple of weeks ago and never got an answer either. TIA

The fact of the matter is that the USDM foglight operates on an H11 bulb while the JDM foglight is run off a 9006 bulb. Two totally different connectors. Try getting an aftermarket harness from Nokya. The original fog harness will have to be cut off to get the new harness on, but it will be a direct fit after that harness install.

I also would like to know how it is difficult or not to do it.

I have a question about the MR headlights, do the headlight come whit the three lights? because on Gruppe-S, they are selling the Headlight but only the housing for $650+ (http://www.gruppe-s.com/Evo/evoext.htm)

Since this thread means alot to me as well I got on the case and did a good investigation.
I just spoke with a guy who works at IntakeOne.com and this is what he told me to do, to make the JDM MR Headlights work in the Spec. US MR Evo. As above, one of are members suggested buying a Nokya 9006 harness. He was right on point. Heres what we have to do if you want it done the right way, and not jimmy rigged. You have to buy this part, that comes in a pair, and select 9006 as your choice: http://www.intakeone.com/Light_bulbs/NokyaCombo.html

Once you have this, either try it yourself, or go to your dealer or someone who is good with wiring and have them cut your H11 outputs from with inside your Evo, and then rewire the 9006 adapter in its place so it will fit the JDM 9006 bulb holder on the housing. It's that simple.
Myself, since I'm not that good, I will take it to someone and have them do it.

But in a nut shell that's it. Just to be clear, when you buy the item, it's sold as a pair, so just pick 9006 and your color bulb of choice, and you’re done.

Hope this helps guys.

I notice that the MR head lights are much cheaper than the stock ones from the 03 model. These MR lights have the HIDs? I busted up one of my headlights on my 03 and now I'm in need of replacements. And at $1300 a piece for stock ones, these would be a nice option.... as long as it still has the HIDs.

the mr headlignts are only a housing you have to use all stock parts and re wire the H11 foglight plug to a 9006 plug also buy 9006 bulbs so if you broke the HID you are pretty much screwed and will have to buy the whole thing
