How-to: Color match or brighten gauge and interior lights

All colors match.

Dash is red now, not orange.

Here's the how-to

That's cool... I changed my climate lights to orange with autometer bulb covers and it looks pretty good.

thank you so much for the write-up. after i did the climate controls in red (from another write-up), i realized that the dash wasn't really red, but orange. bummer - i thought for sure it would be a pain in the *** to get to those bulbs! but your write-up proved me wrong.

i found it easier to get at the guages if you pop out the fog light switch/side mirror controls.

thanks again!

You can buy one from your local mitsu dealer Just tell them you need the one with the blue base.

While you're at it, buy two of them... I was thinking if you replace the smaller bulb with one of the big ones, it'll be nice and bright

i'm sorry, but i looked everywhere, and i've only come to this conclusion...

the gauge/speedometer bulbs are a size t1.5 and/or 74. however, i know that there are 4 bulbs, and one of the bulbs is a lot smaller than the others. what size is that small bulb? i need to get my right side bulb switched out, with fuel gauge and temp. however, i will be applying this mod and cutting off all the condoms...

please help.
