need help exhaust manifold will not come off

need help exhaust manifold will not come off

i am replacing my viii turbo with a ix and i have everything completley unhooked tubo and o2 are just sittin there unbolted. I have all the bolts off the manifold and it wont come off for anything, it is completley apart from the turbo, its just stuck on the top studs. i have pulled it , wiggled it, nothing works. my car is an o3 so its been on there for five years. does anyone know what i can do to get it off, i really need an idea/ thanks alot guys

spray some PB Blaster all over the bolts and pry that b*tch off!!!

So the turbo has been removed from the car but the manifold is stuck on the head or you cant remove the manifold and the turbo is still below it? I have never seen a stuck manifold since the gasket will never bind to the head.

does the manifold even move? If it doesn't move make sure you got all the nuts off the studs. It's a pain in the a** to wiggle that thing out with the turbo in. I got mine off with the turbo still in place, I had to use my breaker bar and pry it against the block. Make sure you sold the nuts with pb blaster, it helps, good luck!
