Where is the MR gauge install on a non MR thread at?

Can someone post a link to a step by step MR gauge install or is it just that easy? I am picking up a set of MR gauges and was wondering how to install it on my evo IX. Can someone help me out? I have been looking through the boards for a while now.

Thanks

I have an MR and I removed the gauges so I get the idea of how they work. Theres a jumper in between the radio plug and the car plug that taps all the required power wires and what not, and theres a boost source line that runs from I dont know where, Im sure you can figure that part out. Getting power to it should be easy though, the voltmeter only needs power, the boost takes power and vaccuum and the other one has a transmitter wire to it. forgot what the other one even was lol. But I remember it had another wire I just capped and tied to the back. It should be really easy. Hope that helps. I can take a pic of the harness I ripped mine out. Wait a sec Ill update with a photo.

Shoot me over an email @ russellm@brucetitus.com and I send you a .pdf of the installation instructions. That may help clear it up a little.

Here you go. One white plug goes to the radio, the other to the cars radio plug, that terminal lug (black) gets grounded to a bolt in the radio console. There are 3 tan clips that go into each gauge, so you really cant mess it up. The 2 wire clip is volt, the 4 wire is temp, and the 3 wire is boost? I think thats accurate. I labeled them but its hard to read now. You probably just have to run a vaccuum line, Im sure the stock kit comes with the T-fitting and hose.

Actually, if your picking up a set of these gauges from a dealer, Ill give you mine for like 10 bucks+shipping, unless your in FL, just come and take it free. It was only installed for about 15 miles from the dealership home.

Wow! 10 Bucks? Consider it sold. Do you have any pictures of them? Is the harness and the vacuum connection going to be included? What's your paypal?

Thanks

Yes... where?

I've been searching all over EVOm for this information....

1 - There are two bullet plugs from the temp gauge that don't have a place to go in a non-MR EVO 8/9... one is white and the other is white with a blue stripe.

2 - Where do you run the vacuum line?

3 - is there any order as to which YELLOW plugs go where, or is it just color to color hookup, doesn't matter?

Follow up...

After spending over 2 hours at the parts counter today, I've discovered that NOBODY at Mitsubishi can tell me what or where to get the oil temp sender or the oil pressure sender that I see most guys installing in the Oil Filter Housing.

I'm fed up with these FACTORY Gauges. Aftermarket is EASIER and CHEAPER!!!
