Im looking for the exact location of the stock oil pressure sensor. not for gauges or anything, i have a flickering light and im changing the sensor out for a new one. if that doesnt work im going to replace the oil pump.

It is threaded in to the backside of block towards the driverside. It is pretty easy to replace going down under the passenger side of the intake manifold.

Yes,under intake closer to the transmission in a PITA place but the 8's don't have the problem of flickering oil lights...

Well the manual is WRONG,and do you know why it is wrong? The oil feed for mivec gets its oil from that hole, which is larger and a banjo bolt screws into it.
Any more questions?

BTW,that is the EXACT same page number as the EVO 8 service manual for 2003 as seen here. http://www.ne-evos.net/data/2003serv...0003900-12.pdfClick on the blue 12-4 in link provided.
Are you sure that is from the evo 9 manual?

Does your oil light flicker all the time? I am having the same problem on my IX. Only happens once the engine is warmed up, and only at idle though.
