AEM Tru-Boost installed
I got my AEM Tru-Boost boost controller installed today & decided to post a few pics of the install since I haven't come across any when searching. I used a spare piece of metal strap to make a mounting bracket & mounted the solenoid to the xenon ballast. It took a little longer than I had expected, but didn't run into any major problems. I have not been able to set it up & test it yet because the car is torn down for other mods & repairs at this time.

not being a jerk or anything the installation looks good but I had bad experience with the same solenoid it went bad pretty quick. It went bad and I didn't want to believe it because it was so expensive and all, but it only lasted me about four months and everything was installed fine. Just keep an eye on that, just my 2c. I end up getting a manual boost controller.

That's kinda crappy. I hope this lasts a little klonger than that. I mounted the solenoid to the bracket with 2 layers of double sided foam tape & secured it with zip ties. I'm hopeing this will lessen the vibration the solenoid sees. That may help, but I dont really know.

Here is how I did it - I tapped all my power and ground off the ECU. I tapped a lead line into it 12V switched power and 12V ground. Thats how I hooked up all my gauges and zeitronix as well. Its a clean way of doing it, I think.
