you cant get the o2 sensor loosened. It seems stuck. WD40 wouldnt even work to budge it and i dont want to break it. I am trying to get the o2 extender installed.

dont do that! you'll ruin the o2.

What one is stuck? If its the secondary, used an o2 removal tool (available at any autoparts store) and a big breaker bar.

If its the primary, you may want to think about takeing the o2 houing out, and puting it in a vice... sucks

buy a o2 socket. Dont heat it. Thats a last resort. Make sure you antiseize everything when putting it back together.

I had this same problem when i tried installing my BR TBE.

- First off as far as my knowledge WD40 is a lubricant not a penatrant. So try something like PB power blaster. REALLY good stuff.

- spray it around the bung where the o2 screws in. let it sit for like 5 to 10 min or so.

- Also instead of heating it up with a torch i just ran my car for like 10 min, to let it get up to temp then have at it. --- Obviously be careful because now everything is hot as hell but you have now safely heated the joint.

This worked for me... Good luck!

drive the car around for 20 min get the exhaust nice and hot. get underneath their a o2 socket ( 1/2 drive a must ) or 7/8 wrench , apply some force it should come out..

If PB Blaster doesnt work take some canned air turn the bottle upside down so that just the super cold propellant comes out hold the spray on it until it's all frosted then remove with a breaker bar.

Def spray the sensor with some sort of penetrating oil such as PB Blaster. That stuff works wonders. Make sure to let it soak in real good. Like others have said instead of heating up the sensor with a torch run your car for a little bit but make sure not to burn yourself while your in there lol. I am not sure which sensor you are trying to get out but assuming you can get as much leverage as possible. The sensor in my o2 housing was stuck but I managed to get it out by soaking it with penetrating oil and I also put a copper pipe on my ratchet which gave me some serious leverage and whala it came out. When reinstalling it be sure to use anti seize and you will never have this problem again. Good luck
