yea i also bought the tool from ams and it broke in half just like that one almost exaclty were his broke

yea I just busted a homemade one yesterday ftl I was just going to reset up timing and had the belt back on and it broke in coming out...this is the 2nd motor in the car and previous two times had no issue using ams' timing belt tensioner tool but this homemade was FTMFL now I've gotta pull off all the damn pulleys etc etc etc
