I just installed my AEM Short Ram Intake but I can't find a way to mount the heatshield. The instructions only show me how to install it with the stock battery. I'm currently running the Nisei intercooler piping kit with the mini battery. It could only be bolted in 1 of the 2 spots but it doesn't look safe. Does anyone know if there's a way to mount it? Or does the heatshield not make that big of a difference?

 

There is no point if its for the intake pipe. Because when it compresses the air, it will just heat back up. Thats why the intercooler is in place. anything after the intercooler i would worry about.

 

With my mini battery my heat shield is only mounted w/ 1 bolt. I used tape to attach it to the airscoop thing. As long as that 1 bolt down hear the wastegate actuator is tight it should be fine.
