Just did my fronts this week. My car has 130k on it, but it is a cali car so it was super easy. I already had the axles out because the trans is being rebuilt so that made it even easier. But I left the hubs on the car just tapped them with a hammer and they popped right out. It took me 10mins to do, super easy. Again cali car so no rust at all.

Hello everyone,
Probably doing this job on an evo 5
Has anyone tried to just replace the bearings:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2x-02-07-Mit...ZYWyJP&vxp=mtr
bearings-front
I know these should be pressed out and new ones back in. Anyone done this job?
ANyone know what bearing # or size should be used, or if those ebay ones work?
Thanks for your help

I did my fronts about a year ago. Here we have snow and salt. I didn't even try to remove the hubs, just pulled the knuckles. They went to Bear Frame and Axle to be pressed out along with the still installed speed sensors. Bear Frame and Axle works mostly on trucks and they said the hubs came out with a bang on their big press. No way was that going to happen at home.
