HELP! installed jdm evo 4 engine but check engine light stays on????>

Question HELP! installed jdm evo 4 engine but check engine light stays on????>

like it said ... bought evo 4 engine and put it in with original evo 8 wiring harness and ECU. car runs fine but the check engine light stays on and wont go away. took it to the shop and ran it through the comp and is saying its a prob. with the cas and cps but when checked individually they were both ok.../????

Theres is a difference in the cam angle sensor reluctor or chopper if you like.
the trailing cut away is shorter in CT9A.
Dont know if it will really throw a code or not.
But swap the cam sensor first and see if the code goes away.
Some 4,5,6 had a sensor issue.

will do i was thinking the same when i saw the difference in the cut offs of the cam sensors will try that out and let you know what happens.....thanks

mannnnn i gotta thank you . tried that out and it cleared the code... once again thank you finally i could drive this and be legal////
