Help with throttle body seal, boost leak

I've searched and found the old threads on replacing the seals. I followed the directions exactly, word for word but I still have a boost leak from the throttle body shaft seals. I know becuase the leaks makes a sound when idling and when I clutch in the sound goes away.

My main point is what am I doing wrong. Any help tips or pointers would be help greatly.

Sounds like you cut or tore one of the new seals when putting the butterfly shaft back in. Did you use dielectric grease for lube or dry? Get more seals and try again. GL it's normal to mess up new seals while installing for first time.

you dont build boost in idle sounds like you might something else wrong do a boost leak test to confirm if it is the seals or not and use soapy water

Check the boost reference hose on the EGR valve just below the throttle body. If it was your throttle shaft seal leaking it would be hard to hear unless it was a huge leak, and pushing the clutch in wouldn't affect it that much. However, the line at the EGR valve has a solenoid hooked up to it that should close it when the switch for the clutch is pressed. Feel free to PM me if you have any further questions.

A good old fashioned boost leak test is needed for a proper analysis, like stated earlier you will not be able to hear a boost leak at idle, it would actually be sucking in air.
