Windshield Washer Fluid Tank

Guys,

Needing some help here as I need to get access to below the tank in the trunk side-pocket.

I tried to search for a removal of the tank but nothing came up and I don't have my service manual on me. I see one bolt but I am not so sure it's as simple as that. The shape of this thing also doesn't look too encouraging.

Does anyone know of any write ups which mention this thing? If not, can anyone check the service manual for me and see what holds this sucker in?

Thanks!

Another note to this, I could probably get away with raising the thing up (not necessarily removing the tank completely).

I took mine out a few years ago, but from what I remember it takes about 2 minutes to take out. Just look around on it for a couple bolts to take out and thats about it... it's pretty simple

it will be way easier if you remove the trunk panels, then you will see another bolt, take them out, unplug hoses from the pumps and just take the tank out, you will have to move it around since the shape of it doesn't allow the tank to just come straight up.

Thanks guys, it was pouring outside so I didn't have a chance to look around too good before posting. I had a brief break in weather so I looked around and there are (3) bolts that deal with the mounting of this unit. There is a fourth bolt that is easily seen that seems to have nothing to do with the tank. It's probably the easiest bolt head to see.

I was able to get what I needed by lifting the tank up and strangling my hands around sharp metal and plastic. It seemed to take a little wriggling but the tank was movable. I have no clue how this thing would come out. It must take alot of wriggling around to get that thing out.

(2) of the bolts secure the unit and (1) of the bolts is holding a support mount that has a hole. One securing bolt is upper left, one securing bolt is mid right and the support mount bolt is lower center when looking at the unit from within the trunk. There is a post (nipple sounds better) molded into the tank that sits in the support mount hole.

I didn't have to take the panels off but they were cracked to where I could pull them away enough to see all of the bolts. I am also missing some of the plastic fasteners. If you want to maintain the integrity of your trunk panels, you may want to remove these or you will crack them or bust up the fasteners.

Thanks again.
