So where are you guys purchasing the jdm bumper from? If you don't mind, how much did it cost, incl. shipping?

Driveline almost 2 years ago. I think $850. I think pricing went up since our dollars are not worth as much now.

Be carefully, In case of being rear ended the insurance company might not pay for all damages without the crash beam.

how well does the white match up with your car?I've always been curious about that.

$550 shipped for everything is a great deal. so tempting.

Plus fedex cracked the corner of it so i'm trying to see what i can do about that anyway how hard was it to modify the stock crash beam? Or is the deamonworks one worth the money?

I got a good idea. Take the crash beam to a NON AUTOMOTIVE welding place, maybe a place that does railings. They could do it for cheap because its not a big deal. I dont think they would charge more then $25-$50

places? Do you mean pieces? If so you bought a bumper retainer and license plate bracket.Technically you don't even need the crash beam to install the JDM rear.

Talking

Here is a link to the weld job to modify the USDM crash beam.

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...rash-beam.html

I got rear ended and am thinking of the JDM option rear bumper cover - issue is if going with the Demonwerks (sp?) if an insurance claim were submitted - would it cover since it looks aftermarket and not dept of trans OEM/"official?" Anyone with any experience with insurance claim in rear ender with Demonwerks?

I think the modded and painted OEM part at least looks fairly legit for the claims people.
