Great write up, but I have an added problem

All 4 mounting bolts just spin, I guess the brackets have totally rotten and are no longer holding the nuts/bolts

Is it possible to pull the sides off with the spoiler still on the car. It looks to me like the rivets will prevent this ???

Otherwise, any ideas of how to get the spoiler off without damaging it or the boot lid??

You can't pull it off without removing the rivots. I would suggest cutting the bolt heads off and getting new bolts for it.

I recently took my wing off my car (Michigan car) and had this exact same issue. I PM'd Antilag to see if he still made brackets for people and he gladly said he would!

I received the brackets from him, they look great. Unfortunately I don't have many tools so I had to buy a drill, hand rivet tool, and a rivet nut tool which ended up costing me ~130 bucks.

Now that the tools are all purchased I just have to glue some washers on the CF side of my wing and she is ready to be put back together and mounted on my CF trunk.

Thanks again Antilag!

^ no problem, most of the riveting nut tools can be purchased on line for about 30 bucks, they are worth it IMO

To anyone who has done this: What did you all use to glue the sides back to the wing? Ive replaced my brackets with ones similar to what antilag made, got it painted and such, now its time to put it back together and I wanted to be sure that I use strong enough glue. I have some gorilla glue I was going to use but I figured Id check with you all first. Thanks!

This is what I used:

But trust me, if you use this you want to invest in some clamps. You are supposed to hold it for a half an hour while it cures. I used my knee and hands and stayed on the floor on it while I was watching netflix... I don't advise going that route lol.
