loctite on flywheel bolts

loctite on flywheel bolts

Is it really necessary use loctite on the flywheel bolts?!?!
I always use the red one but I can't ****in find it!!!

yes its neccesary unless you want to take everything a part again down the road when it starts falling a part while you are driving... Go to AutoZone and spend another 5-8 bucks.

Yes sir, get the blue loctite and put a good amount on the threads, red loctite if you really don't ever want them coming out. That flywheel is spinning quick, I wouldn't want anything to do with the bolts backing out.

Yes, you definitely want to put Loctite on the flywheel bolts, or else you will risk them coming loose! I always use red Loctite and never really had an issue with taking them out at a later time.

You NEVER want to put loctite or threadlocker on the flywheel bolts, you put it on the threads in the crankshaft, not very much is needed.

just torque brand new flywheel bolts to 98lbs
