Deleting rear o2 sensor for wideband
i found a link that was very specific when i didn't need it a while back and now can't. I don't want to have to send it of to have the new o2 sensor welded in. If any body can help that'll be great! I want to delete the o2 sensor and modify the hardware of the ecu so the the cel doesn't come up or change the way the car drives or idles.

Rear o2 doesn't affect the driving of the car in any way. It's only there to check whether the cat is working properly.
I notice it says bone stock in your sig; do you still have the cat installed? If so you should not place the o2 sensor after the cat, you want get proper readings.

will disabling the rear o2 show up if they plug in for state inspections? I need this problem gone (P0171) and I dont want to deal with troubleshooting it since everyone has a different of what that code could be.

Is this forced inspection patch some sort of add on we do to the ecuflash files and then flash our car? Or is it something else? Sorry, I've been out of the evo scene for over a year
