Why are the 7 tail lights so popular? In contrast I think they are the most commonly sold EVO tail light in this country. You should all sell your lights to Japan!

I think this method of getting the look is spot on though. No reason to spend that much money.

This was done in 2012 how's vinyl holding up OP? Just wondering how often the vinyl needs to be changed. Love the look!

I don't know why your vinyl made the tails look so cloudy. They look exactly like the VHT spray tint.

I bought this vinyl from ebay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/130895183538?_trksid=p2060778.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
If done on the 8 chrome tails like mine it perfectly matches the bright red of the JDM tails. I have yet to cut out the signal lines and i had a couple bubbles here an there but overall well worth it for $10 for both tails

They look good. Idk maybe the vinyl had a different shade to it. Lol I got rid of the vinly then sprayed them with the lines too. They looked dead on evo 7's until started to fade away. So eventually I picked up some originals lol. Which everyone will on this thread soon or later.

Be honest, I think I left the vinyl on there for few months and it was good no fade or nothing. Then I had sprayed the lights with the evo 7 lines this time. Which came out really nice until they started to fade. After that I just got tired of it and picked up the real evo 7's.

When the lights were sprayed.

With the originals
