Emblem adhesive questions

I just purchased my car a few months ago and the previous owner had completely debadged the car along with removing the front and rear emblems. I bought a full set of oem emblems and badges used and they did not come with any type of adhesive. My question is what do you guys recommend using as an adhesive, some have said double sided 3 m tape but i found four different kinds and don't know if there's a specific one I should be using, what do you guys recommend?

I used the 3m double sided tape with the red backing on it. It's indoor outdoor tape that is really really strong. I used them to hold down hid ballasts on my old car and ended up pulling the whole car foreward a few feet trying to pull up the ballast. You won't have any issues with them coming off.

Looks like this

Is this what I should use for the Mitsubishi emblem too? Or is there a special glue that the factory uses

I've used the same 3m tape in the past. IF u need to remove in the future using fishing line or floss to cut through. Dont just peel the badge off. I like it b/c it doesn't leave the adhesive residue behind like the double sided white foam tape

Hi I was wondering whether the red double sided tape that you bought, is the same as this one:
Amazon Amazon

I want to make sure that I have the right one for sticking my emblem on to my car.

Thanks

thats the exact double sided tape i bought but the one i got was a little bit wider. It's pretty much the same double sided tape i used to intall my vortex generator on to my car and i can pretty guarantee that its not going anywhere

Aside from what material to use, is there a specific measurement or reference that i should use when installing the rear emblem? Do any of you guys have a diagram or how to guide on how to put it on the right spot?

That tape is the stuff. It'll never let go.

On getting the emblem in the right spot, I would just measure the trunk across, divide by 2 and there's the middle haha maybe a half an inch down from the edge of the trunk. Get it as straight as you can (thats what she said?). As long as you're careful, it'll look fine when you step back.

If your that concerned about it being crooked, you could use a level from the bottom where the flat part of the emblem is...it ain't rocket science...
