hey everyone i know im probably going to get flamed for this but i looked everywhere and cant find how to install the rexspeed evolution badge. the problem and difference between the rexspeed 1 and the uk trunk badge is that the rexspeed is 2 lines that need to be put together where the uk is 1 full line. and i dont want an annoying gap inbetween the evolu and tion. if anyone has installed it and has any tips or tricks on how to install please let me know. thanks

 

What I did was use painters tape. I started from the sides of the trunk and laid down a full line of tape along the side. After that line I laid down another line right next to it and then keep repeating on both sides until I got to the position I wanted.

To center it horizontally I did the same from top to bottom. Then just used the template to start the letters.

 

Also, use a flap of tape on the the top of the badge to move it around on the trunk until you're happy with the fitment, then fold the badge up, remove the backer, and hinge it back down onto the lid in place. Vinyl guys do this when applying.

Came with both stencils to help align the lettering easy. Came out pretty decent and had the letters "EVOLUTION" "VIII" and "IX"

Not a bad option IMO.

thanks everyone, the instructions golgo 13 posted were the 1's i was going to use but problem im running into is the gap in between the word. and for the record i already have the badge.

The dimensions and measurements I used. I also moved the 'E' slightly right because I felt the cardboard template placed it just a hair too far to the left and made the spacing weird
