clutch install problems
so i just replaced my clutch and put my tranny back in and my clutch fork is reall far forward the throw out bearing is engaged but the fork is way towards the passenger side what could it be please help
I was stressing out when it happened to me, I didn't know why it was happening at first. I then called Road Race Engineering for advice over the phone. I ended up dropping the transmission like they told me to do and when I did, the little collar ring that is logged into the pressure plate looked fine. They told me to take my pressure plate back off. When I did, sure enough, the ring on the backside of the pressure plate came falling out. I took the pressure plate, ring, and wedge collar to RRE and they showed me how to reinstall it properly. I'll take pics and post it if you'd like.
Anyways drop your transmission and remove your pressure plate so you can inspect what the problem is and why your TOB isn't catching. Good luck and be patient bro.
