Easier way to remove mesh grill?
Is there an easier way to remove the 2 mesh grills on the front bumper other than taking the bumper off entirely? I just want to give my grills a quick plasti dip spray as they're a bit worn.

dang! well is there anyway to get the bumper off without jacking up the car? my cars been lowered pretty far so im not sure if i can reach the clips under the bumper, but I don't have access to jacks or ramps sadly as I'm a broke college student.

Invest on some 4x6 and read up on how to make a ramp.

It is because of this that I only have my bumper on there with only two bolts in the front and zip ties on the sides. Takes less than a minute to take off or put on and the bumper is super tight on there. (You want this if you need to get towed or be put on a trailer)

Sounds like a good idea. Do the zip ties last a good while? Or would you carrying some with you everywhere you go in case one breaks?

zip ties will last you a while. but but since i take off my front bumper pretty often i have a pack of them in the car with me.

You inspired me to pint mine while I blacked out my headlights.. Side not : The larger grill piece has more 10mm bolts then the entire bumper and headlights combined.

Not even a need for zip ties. Leave the bolts in the side and the two up front and the two up top and your golden. Never a need to jack car up. I took mine off on the side of the road when my UICP popped off while driving through VA. Get rid of the plastic crap under the car. Its a hassle and does nothing unless you are going through rivers when it rains......LOL IMHO I think without the plastic guard you get better heat release from engine bay anyways.
