Thanks for the video upload. Are there any down fall with the seafoaming? I heard from some people about how their valve guides and seals were ruined. I have 155k on my Evo and it ll be my first time seafoaming it lol

I'm not sure about all the cons for using seafoam. I'm sure there are. But I've used it 6 times across 5 different vehicles and had no issues.

I've been told that when you put Seafoam in the oil that you should not put a big load on the motor. I was told to just let it idle/ bring it up to operating temp. I have also read that you should pull the oil pan and check for metal shavings the seafoam knocked loose. I was always a little scared to try it in the oil so I haven't, but I have used it as a fuel cleaner.

Hopefully what I read was just some internet nonsense. So don't act like what I said is fact.

This is new to me. What are the benefits of Seafoaming? Is it just a cleaner?

Yeah Seafoam is cleaner. Helps remove carbon residue/build in your engine.

My car sat for 2 months, I don't like driving in the winter since they salt the roads when it snows. When I started the car the check engine light was on and I took it to my local shop to read the code. They said I needed new plugs so I changed them, the engine was still running rough. I decided to use Seafoam and now the engine runs as smooth as when I bought the car new.

Np. I was in the same boat. People had posted tons of stuff over the forums, but no one had any videos. I'm glad the video helps.
