I purchased a Sparco side mount seat the other day at a brick and mortar store after test sitting in about 20 of them to find the perfect fit. Settled on the Ergo. It is now on its way to me, and should be here Wednesday. I also bought some side mounts to install. I have never installed a side mount seat. My question is what has everyone done to install these seats correctly? It is for go, not for show, so it will need to pass tech inspection. I see that there are tabs on the stock sliders. Will these tabs suffice if mounted to the bottom of the side mount brackets? Is there a bolt in solution that I have yet to come across yet? I have done some searching on here with no results, as well as google.... Everything seems to want to sell me something, or using sliders with the seat. I want the least amount of parts possible involved because the seat will not be moving once it is installed.

So.... Nobody??? Just had surgery on Friday, so I am on bed rest for three weeks, but I may hobble into the garage next week to take a look.... No advice??

 

I had side mount seats in my Evo before. Don't know what kind of brackets u got but u can't bolt them to the stock sliders. What I did was buy the buddy club rails/sliders and that's how I mounted my recaro spg. There's someone selling a set on here.
