Poured to much ATF SPIII

So..

My AYC reservoir was just under the min level when the car sat for about 90 minutes. I followed some instructions I found on the form to top up.

I bought some Mitsubishi ATF - SPIII and I used a funnel to pour it into the reservoir.. only thing I poured to much.

The reservoir bottled basically overflowed and, the fluid was also dropping from under the car.

I've read horror stories about overfilling this bottle.

Armed with a straw I stuck it in the bottle and put my finger over the top and gradually pulled out enough fluid until it was just under the max mark.

If this happens to you, just use a straw it (it takes some time!)

why didn't you just bleed it out? better than contaminating the fluid in the reservoir and way faster.

Turkey Baster def would have sped the process. Works really well pulling brake fluid out as mentioned.
