88mm Crank balanced and polished
Standard evo 9 crank

156 Aluminium Rods

87mm CP pistons

1.5mm Power Enterprize Head Gasket

GSC S3 Cams with Krigleys

6466 Turbo with Full Race exhaust manifold with wastegat 44mm

Motec M800

HKS Cam gear

Problem i am getting is when the builder first made the engine, the valves in the head was hit. Apparently the cam gear was not adjusted properly. We assumed the mivec can be adjusted when the car is being tuned.
Valves were replaced.

My question, must be used an oversize valves as in Plus 1?

car also had his crank damaged and we are changing that too

Can Engine builders please comment and let me know what went wrong?

Did the valves hit because of the wrong cam gear setting or ?

This is very unfortunate and we need as much help as we can.
