Now, to talk about the focus of this mod besides the cool factor and the fact that no one has done this for these cars really. I wanted bigger brakes not to show them off but because of the fact that I would see hints of brake fade (before the apm rotors) by the end of my 2minute track heats. Once I got the apm rotors things began to cool off dramatically over the stock rotors but I still felt I needed some bite by the end. I could have upgraded my lines and got better pads and even went with a different set of tires but I wanted to try my hand at something different.

Looking at how much more pad these calipers hold than the stock brembos is enough to impress but the fact is, I wanted a bit more bite and a lot less fade over time. With these being of an increased size, more pistons, bigger overall contact patch and the fact that they have worked in the past for b4 chassis S4's which weigh more than my car (cat scale weight 3040lbs) it was a clear choice with these guys.

I appreciate the questions and hope to hear more from you guys. Stay tuned as I will have much more data after this week on these. But for now, feels like we have an easy BBK for less than $500 sans rotors of your choice. I already had some very good rotors so I chose not to go two-piece....yet.

Oh and as far as brake pads, HAWK has a full line up for these calipers. Search 330mm rotor option for the cayenne and even EBC has pads. It is a porsche after all. lol.

Now you gotta figure out how to put your old fronts on the rear.

Lol, that will require a bracket at least and a bigger rotor. I would love to have 330mmx 32mm rotors on the rear. Thing is, I have to be careful about brake bias. I actually was going to try fitting the matching rears or a set of boxter rears.

Holy hell at that price it is a super steal. As long as these hold up better than the stock which I'm sure they will I would seriously be interested in getting these. Only question will be what size rims and min to no spacers. But plz keep this thread updated!

Wow thanks!
Never wouldve thought about this.
I was also wondering if the matching rear brakes would fit in the rear and if you would need a larger master cylinder for the new rotors.

The head of the bolts dont sit flush on the caliper due to them being elongated right?
Did you also have a width comparison by any chance?

Once again thanks so much for the info!
Youre super awesome!

Any idea if these would fit with 17s? I have 17x10+18 rpf1s and these would be a cool addition.

Hey guys. Sorry been away from the thread for a few days. I took the car to get tuned on Monday and should be getting it back tomorrow. After that, the brakes will get a full circuit bleeding and then the testing will commence. As far as what I got to feel after the initial bleeding these things make me feel like they are going to peel the paint off the car under full braking!
