Snail thanks man its a blast.

Efr evo it's amazing on the street. But I have not drivin the car much. Make 1500 miles since install. But I just got the block off place so I can remove the tial and put the efr bov on. I will never buy any other turbo (manufacturer) again. I am having an issue with the car. It's either bad cop or injectors. I just had surgery today on my jaw and leave for vacation Sunday. So. Evo will be down for a bit till I get home and figure out what's going on

I've been thinking of getting the 7670 with the IWG vs the EWG. How do you like the internal wastegate? Does it maintain efficiency at high RPM? I am looking to put it on my Cosworth 2.2

my understanding of this IWG is more tricky to setup. also may not hold max HP and max Boost at highRPM unless a bigger EFR and turbo Smart. BlackE did this. But if you can do the proper install and use the proper turbo it makes good power, fast spool, reliable

Thanks for the input. The reason I am thinking of this turbo and the IWG is because I would like to make my Evo more daily driver friendly. Current set up is a Garrett TZ04 with an EWG. Just a bit too much as a daily driver for me.

After talking to Geoff a turbosmart dual port wastegate actuator and a four port ebc are needed to hold higher boost. Remember that the 7670 is only rated to 640 hp on a single turbo setup. I currently have a stock block and stock mr six speed. I can say it make great power all the way through the rpms and had a bit left on tap. I plan on letting it eat when I build the motor and will report back. As for daily use its amazing. When u hit boost the car gets louder but deeper. It's hard to explain. I had to get a cutout cus it was to quiet lol

640 hp is more than enough for a daily driver. One of the reasons I have been considering this set up. Nice to hear it seems to have a bit left for you. Makes it more likely the IWG setup will still work with my 2.2. Thanks for the feedback

SPL30100467SPAL it's a 12 in. But I am personally saying you are better off buying a cbrd slim rad. I had an issue when we mounted the fan it ate into the rad and I had to fix it. Then the pins that mount the fan punched a hole in my Condenser. With the cbrd it's slimmer and had the fan mounted to it already. But either way you have both info. And if u do the spal get the plastic pins instead of the metal one

Was the 12" spal the biggest fan you could fit? Just wondering how your temps hold up? I made my own Custom kit for this turbo (not finished yet) But i retained the stock 9 radiator and managed to fit a 14" fan on mine. Seeing you're in Florida tempsare probably almost comparable to this hot hole called Australia where we can get 40+ degrees Celsius...

Well I haven't had a stock rad in some time but had the stock.fan on my koyo rad until we did the kit. But I could have went wider but it was close to wit the 12 in. I haven't had any issues with heat and yes fla is 90 degrees with 90%humidity daily. I also used the oem box to control the fan and had it wire backward so it was pushing not pulling lol. Simple fix by swapping the two wires. But as I said im.going with the slim rad for room on my end. Also pulling the turbo soo to coat the center cartridge due to rust.

Here's a couple of updates for my build

New skunk2 intake manifold that will be ported by curt brown and then powder coated to match the new color scheme in the engine bay.

Cbrd ultra slim radiator for more room.

New custom lower intercooler pipe made by rich at R.A.W. We made it a 2 piece.

Radium inline extra range fuel pulse damper.

And not related to my evo build but I got to see first hand what a good safety cage can do for its driver. The is Goliath that was daddy Dave's car. I went to okc to hang out with my fam and desided to check out a few shops. ALos met farmtruck and azn at the firehouse
