AYC Bath? EVO IX (9 MR) DIY requested

I've searched, I'm a little confused and am familiar with cars(I think).

I changed my rear diff and my front diff fluid on the evo ix. However, I still have a crazy whine from the rear diff.

I'm seeing posts about an AYC bath change. I'm guessing this means to change the fluid for the AYC.

Is there a DIY for this? Is it different from what I have already done for the rear diff?

Thank you, and apologies for bothering you guys if this is a common question. I have read a bunch of threads and there is no "explain like I'm five" explanation.

Where do you live? If you're in the USA, your car does not have AYC on it

USA cars have ACD (active center diff) but nothing on the rear diff that's active

regardless i have never heard the term "ayc bath". If english is not your first language, maybe it was AYC bleed? that's the only thing close I can come up with. service intervals for the ayc i'm not familiar with at all

Thanks, Demon. AYC bath is the term for the fluid that the AYC unit is immersed in.

If you have a USA model car, the rear diff has no active yaw control or any complicated sub-systems in it at all. It would just house a limited slip diff with an improperly arranged clutch pack(they all came like this). This would not cause a whine noise. If the noise is absolutely coming from the rear diff and not the transfer case even after you filled it with Diaqueen SAE90, then your gears could be on their way out. I don't think a rear wheel bearing would make that kind of noise either.
