Nothing yet. But it will get new 5th gear synchros and new sliders for sure. That is all its really needs. But i may add a straight cut 4th as well.

Hope i don't need to, my transfercase is fine right now and i don't have the funds to rebuild it. However, if someone has a core they want us to rip into, i'd give it a shot.

Enjoyed the video as always. Thanks for posting it up!

Those c clips look like a pain to remove since they don't have peg holes to push out from. Is there a method that makes it easier to remove them?

My '03 Evo had the once common 60 mph vibration in 5th gear that causes a p0300 to be set. Not wanting to be without the car I replaced the transmission. There's a TSB out on this saying to replace 5th gear and the input shaft. This was a manufacturing error according to Mitsubishi. I never bothered to pull the old transmission apart but now I wonder what I would have found.
