Ecu removal

The Ecu location is behind the Glove Box. Remove your glove box. Take and open the glove box and pop out the left stopper pin. Slide the glove box to the left so the right stopper pin clears the lip. Rotate the glove box and remove. The ecu is the box mounted vertically towards the left.

Remove the plastic wire cover which sits below all the Ecu wires.

It will be easier to remove the connectors while the Ecu is still secured mounted. Push the Tab Lock on the yellow connector and carefully remove pulling on the connector. DO NOT pull on the wires. Repeat this on all connectors. (I think is 4 connectors)

Identify the three black bolts in a inverted triangular pattern holding the Ecu bracket. Use a 10 mm tool to dismount the bracket. The Ecu will slide downward cradled in the Bracket.

To put back in just revise the process.

This should take u about 4-5 mins to take out.
