I’ve tried looking for pictures or a video or something, but I can’t find any. One of my side skirts is hanging loose at the top in the back of the car and I’m trying to fix it.

 

There are phillips screws on the bottom that you need to remove. Those thread into white clips and hold the bottom from flapping around. Then there are yellow clips on the side that just snap in so once the screws are out the side skirt just pulls off. It sounds like one of those yellow clips is broken in your case.
