DTM Spec Built 2.0s!

I'm proud to announce that we are finally offering our built engines to the general public instead of just our local customers. We are offering the shortblocks for $2500.00 plus shipping and core fees. If you have a good core, then all you need to take care of is shipping.

Specs:

Manley Rods
DTM Spec Pistons
ARP Main Studs
ACL Race Bearings

The block gets the following loving at the machine shop:
Magnafluxed
Hot Tanked
Mains Align Honed
Choice of standard or oversized bore
New Freeze plugs (core plugs!)
Decked
Clearanced
Blueprinted
New Balance Shaft Bearings (Flipped or Standard)

Core fee is $1500.00 and shipping depends on location.

PM for more information on availability.

whats changed for the 1000.00 option?? Most 2L with a decent rod can turn 10k+ no problem.. I realize they are custom spec pistons but who makes them??

RODS and Pistons. We make a longer rod for the 2.0's that rev higher. To date I don't think anyone else offers this.

I'd also like to add that these blocks can be done for the VIII and the IX.

Interesting theory.. Longer rod allows 2k rpm more safely.. so who makes the piston?? i realize its to your specs but obviously you dont machine them in house..

Why did I not hear about this until at the BBQ? 11k RPM sounds awesome! I believe my little pink pig is about to get whacked with a hammer....
