GSC Cams for Evo 4-8 and 9's are available and ready to ship


GSC Power-Division S1
The GSC Power-Division S1 cams for the Mitsu Evolution 4-8 are designed for those with the stock turbo up to the GT30/50Trim. These cams will not sacrifice any bottom end loss over stock cams; nothing but gains and will promote faster spooling of the upgraded turbos. Gains of 30-55whp (depending on Turbo) have been seen by simply bolting the S1 cams in. Designed for a rev range of 3000-8000rpms, these cams work well on the stock valve springs. 300-450whp camshaft. Idle is slightly rougher than stock.

GSC Power-Division S2
The S2 cams are designed for those with a GT35R-GT4067 Turbo. No low end power is lost vs the stock cams when used with the larger turbo. The S2 cams will show gains of 50-70whp over the stock cams and in some cases more in the higher RPMS. Great for 2.0L engines revving to 9000rpms or for Stroker motors revving to 8000rpms. The S2 Cams require upgraded valve springs (check out GSC’s Chro-Molly Retainers and single valve spring kit for a perfect upgrade to your valve train). Designed for a rev range of 4000-9000 RPMS(2.0L or 3000-8000 2.2L+), 500-700whp applications. Not suggested for smaller stock appearing turbo setups. S2 cams can run on Factory ECU with custom flashing.

The S3 Cams are avalible in a Solid Lifter cam and a Hydraulic Lifter Cam for the Evo 4-8 4G63. These cams are ment for the 800whp+ to take advantage of a very large turbo. these are NOT suggested for anyone running smaller than the 67mm to GT42R turbo.

Designed for a rev range of 3000-8000rpms, these cams work well on the stock valve springs. 300-450whp camshaft.

Race Balance Shaft Evo4-8
Don't let removing your balance shafts shorten your oil pump and engines life. GSC has a race balance shaft that will go in place of the OEM balance shaft and support the oil pumps operation even at extreme rpms. The GSC Power Division race balance shaft includes new bearings, a Mitsubishi cap to cap off the balance shaft pulley, and there machined balance shaft. If your plans include a built motor or your ready to make your 4G63 a little lighter internally, make sure you install one of GSC's Race Balance Shaft kits.


CNC Cylinder Head Evo 4-9
GSC Power-Division’s CNC cylinder head for the Mitsubishi Evolution’s 4-9 is nothing less than perfection.

GSC starts with a brand new OEM Mitsubishi cylinder head that is checked for port wall thickness and for casting flaws. After a good casting is approved, the steal valve guides are removed and the cylinder head is locked in to our Okuma 5 axis mill and the port work begins. Using the latest in computer aided software GSC has designed new intake and exhaust ports for the 4g63 head along with a reshaped combustion chamber to maximize port velocity and flow. Once the Okuma is finished milling away the unneeded aluminum from the cylinder head the head is removed and cleaned to remove any loose aluminum from the milling process. GSC installs a set of Bronze valve guides into the head and it’s off to have a precision valve job to allow for the +1mm over intake and exhaust valves. For the valve job GSC relies on a CNC based Newen Contour-BB to perform precision accurate valve seats specially designed to allow for maximum velocity where it counts most, right at the valve!


After all machining is finished the cylinder head is hot tanked and pressure cleaned before it is ready for final assembly. When installing each of the black nitrated stainless steel intake and Inconel exhaust valves proper stem height is checked on each and every valve stem. Every valve stem is ground to its OEM height to maintain exact valvetrain geometry. A matched set of GSC’s PACALOY Ò Beehive valve spring and titanium retainers are installed using Viton valve seals and the exhaust and intakes are shimmed to provide seat pressures with in 3% of each other. Finally, a spec card is generated and the GSC CNC Cylinder head is ready for a life of extreme performance.
