Any chances of this being adapted to measure vertical rotation?

 

If I understand the question correctly, it can measure vertical rotation. It doesn't matter what orientation the Gauge is in to measure the rotation.

Ah ok, we usually use something like this, except it isn't audible. That feature would be great to have in fabrication as it would cut down on setup time.
