yeah - didn't like that method because the bulbs are too fragile, not to mention by removing them from the housing you'll be exposing them directly to the weather and replacing them would mean removing the bumper... so instead i took some "outdoor approved" double sided sticky tape and stuck the lamp assembly to the sides facing inwards - works fine and they haven't fallen off... yet - but that's why i put some strain relief zip ties on them just in cast the double sided tape decides to quit

and they are easily accessible from underneath the bumper, the good ol' reach around, should i need to replace a bulb
