I have this clutch and am not too happy with it. It makes this weird squeaking noise every once in awhile and nobody knows why. I brought it into AMS and they couldn't figure it out either. Also, if this clutch is not adjusted perfectly (which is hard to do) had it done three times, it will not disengage properly at the higher rpms. It's like hitting a wall to get it into gear. Below 7k, it would go in fine. Just my two cents. If you're going to get this clutch, it's a pain in the butt to get it adjusted correctly.

As for your engagement problems - I have no idea - I have driven dozens of evos with this clutch and they all shifted ultra fast
IF AMS can not find out the problem then I do not know who can
Clutches are very simple devices and if you are having shifting problems like that you may want to look at the transmission or oil - just a thought

Please note - with the carbon - IT MUST have the new upgraded pressure plate or it will slip like a bastard when its cold - those pressure plates are not in stock either from what i gather
