Ben, I bought the APS from you guys about a month or two ago, I'm a little concerned about the lube/grease. I keep seeing overflow from the VTA port (it's spilling out onto the outside of the BOV), and I've been wiping it clean. If this continues, the piston itself may eventually dry out and/or stop blowing off smoothly.. is there any concern for this, or are we expected to re-lube the BOV ourselves from time to time?

Yes the lube will work its way out. This happens with alot of blow off valve. I always recommend the you drop a couple drops of oil in there every once in awhile. Any valve should be oiled. This will not affect the performance of the valve unless it dries completely out.

It really depends. I have seen cars hold 20lbs on the stock BOV all day without problems. On my personal car I would leak at anything over 18. The stock valve is not very well built. So what I would recommend is see if you valve is holding the pressure or not. If it is leaking replace it. If it is fine then decide if you want to replace it or not.

And plus alot of us are ricers at heart and just need the psssstt sound.

Well I have the turboback, k&n filter, and WORKS P2 running about 21-22 psi and havent had any problems with the stock bov. I am getting WORKS 269 cams in 2 weeks, so the bov might be needed, that plus I'll be getting the WORKS water injectiion when its released and a turbo upgrade soon after

Oh, I'll just add...I called Ben to order the BOV and within like 2hrs I had a tracking #, awesome service so far...Thanks
