Are there any negative effects of these? All i see is good but i'd just like to get a bit more info before i buy. Like long term are there any negative side effects to torque dampeners? Or is it just a worse idle.
All I've heard complaints about is how the vibrations of the engine can be felt in the cabin now. I can't tell you firsthand though because I haven't installed mine yet. I've also heard some people say they can hear a whine that is being transmitted from the engine now too.
Thanks for the orders over the holidays, this last weekend and the new year, we appriciate all the business.
We still have these in stock, order now... I will do my best to ship same day.

I just got my "stiffy" today. Thanks CorSport.
Here are some observations.
1. The quality of the components seems very nice for the price.
2. Setting the preload adjustment is easy if you have the right tools. If you don't, you're going to have to get them. I used two medium sized adjustable wrenches and barely got it to work. If they made the jam nut a little thicker, it would have made it easier to get a fat adjustable wrench around it. Because the jam nut is so thin, using 2 adjustable wrenches is out of the question to set the jam nut against the adjustment nut. If you have a very thin open ended wrench set that has very large sizes, you are golden. It wouldn't have killed Ignals to include this stamped wrench. Probably would have cost another $1 or so to make.
3. The adjustment is between 10mm (stiffest setting) to 15mm (loosest recommended setting). Most people don't have a great way of measuring this. I ended up using dial calipers and then converting english units to metric. A tape measure isn't going to be that accurate. Setting the adjustment at a race may be tricky. In the future, it'd be nice if there were a hand adjustable feature like on a shock or something.
Just my 2 cents. Don't take this as a negative post. I can't wait to install it and test it!
