Sun Auto Hyper Force! Plug and Play

I have one technical question for any sharp Evo member that wish to answer me, what is that little round plastic window on top of the unit(to the left of the H on page first). Is that suppose to light up? I have noticed that most of the competitors ingnition amplifiers comes with a led that tells you that is on.
Is there anyway to tell if this unit is properly funtioning?, my car starts and drives well but I am looking for a On/Off light.
I am preparing to install the Hyper Sun on my Evo 8 MR wich runs on methanol, I will let you guys know if any differences on the top end.
